Digital twins

Live models of machines, lines and sites, fed by plant data and used to test a change before it is made.

01 · Build

What we build

A new layout, a third shift or a different product mix is expensive to try on the real line.

  • Asset models in the Asset Administration Shell format, one per machine
  • Live state from OPC UA and MQTT, with history in a time-series store
  • Throughput, buffer and energy simulation with FMI/FMU or SimPy models
  • What-if runs for new layouts, shift patterns and product mixes
  • 3D views in the browser with Three.js, linked to live data
  • APIs that let MES, ERP and maintenance systems read the twin

02 · Demo · sample data

Try it live.

A working sample with made-up data. It runs in your browser; nothing is sent anywhere.

03 · Features

What it does well

  • 01

    Standard asset models

Each machine is described in the Asset Administration Shell, so vendors and systems agree.

  • 02

    Live and historical

The twin shows the current state and replays any past shift from the time-series store.

  • 03

    Validated simulation

Models are checked against recorded production before they are trusted for decisions.

  • 04

    What-if scenarios

A scenario changes one thing, runs, and is compared side by side with today’s line.

  • 05

    Browser 3D

Lines are drawn in 3D in any browser, with live values on each machine, no plug-in needed.

  • 06

    Open interfaces

Everything the twin knows is available through an API and an OPC UA server.

Questions

What is the difference between a dashboard and a digital twin?

A dashboard shows the data. A twin also holds a model of how the line behaves, so it can answer questions the data alone cannot: what happens to output if a buffer is halved, or if a machine runs slower. It stays linked to the real line so the model can be checked.

How accurate will the simulation be?

We measure it. Each model is run against recorded shifts and the difference in throughput and waiting time is reported. We say how far the model can be trusted, and for which questions, before anyone uses it to decide on a change.

Do we need 3D?

Not always. Many decisions need only the model and a clear chart. 3D helps when layout, reach and flow matter, or when people who do not read schematics need to understand the line. We start from the questions you want answered.
