PLC and SCADA
Control logic, operator screens and plant data links, from the PLC to the historian and the MES.
01 · Build
What we build
Control code is often the least documented software in a company, and the most expensive to get wrong.
- PLC programs in IEC 61131-3 Structured Text and ladder, under version control
- HMI and SCADA screens built to ISA-101 high-performance layouts
- OPC UA servers and gateways for Modbus TCP, PROFINET and EtherNet/IP
- Alarm management to ISA-18.2, with shelving and rationalisation
- A unified namespace on MQTT with Sparkplug B, one data model for every system
- Factory and site acceptance test scripts, run and signed off with your engineers

03 · Features
What it does well
- 01
Code under version control
PLC projects are exported to text, reviewed and versioned like any other software.
- 02
Simulation before site
Logic is tested against a simulated process before it is downloaded to a live PLC.
- 03
Grey screens
ISA-101 layouts keep normal states quiet, so an abnormal value is the first thing seen.
- 04
Fewer, better alarms
Each alarm has a cause, a consequence and an operator action, or it is removed.
- 05
One namespace
Every tag is published once, by site, area, line and machine, for every system to read.
- 06
Signed acceptance
Factory and site acceptance tests are scripted, run together and signed off step by step.
04 · FAQ
Questions
Which PLC brands do you work with?
Siemens S7 through TIA Portal, Rockwell through Studio 5000, and CODESYS-based controllers from several vendors. We keep to the platform already in your plant. If you are choosing new hardware, we compare options for your process before any purchase.
Can you change logic on a running line?
Only with your engineers, in an agreed window, with a tested rollback. Changes are first run against a simulation, then downloaded with the previous program saved, and checked step by step on site. We do not make online edits to a running process without that plan.
What is a unified namespace, and do we need one?
It is one place where every machine and system publishes its current data in a shared structure, usually over MQTT. MES, ERP, dashboards and AI then read the same values instead of building point-to-point links. It pays off once three or more systems need the same plant data.
